HR Branding

Monday, August 21, 2006

Truer words have never been spoken (from globeandmail.com):

"For business, success in the short-handed economy will mean finding and keeping employees will be the single most important management task; that employee training is not a waste of money, but a key recruitment tool; and that a company's brand among potential workers is just as important as its image among customers."

Read it again "...a company's brand among potential workers is JUST AS IMPORTANT as its image among customers."

Take a moment, grab a stack of your sales and marketing collateral, spread it our beside your recruiting materials...

What do you notice? Way bigger budget for sales? 10 times the material for sales? And they're still not hitting their numbers!

Maybe they need better people.. now all you have to do is attract them...
