"Volkswagen has a new car in pre-production that, the automaker estimates, could get up to 282 mpg.
That's not a misprint."
When times are tough.. the tough show what they're made of..
While the Big 3 play catch up, and Toyota runs away with the Hybrid market.. VW has it's own strategy.
Does it sound crazy? Sure.
But, if it works.. they get a chance to get ahead of their industry..
